Many kids who undergo chemotherapy need blood transfusions, and often more than one. This includes Eli, who needed blood transfusions both urgently following a medical procedure and throughout rounds of chemotherapy.

As a way to give back to those that helped save Eli’s life during treatment, we have created a Lifeblood team in his name. Our goal in 2024 is to collectively help save 74 lives through blood, platelet and plasma donations.

You can become a Lifeblood Crew Member at any time:

  1. log in to Lifeblood or create an account

  2. Go to ‘My details’ in the top menu and select ‘Manage preferences’

  3. Next to the ‘Lifeblood team’ heading, search ‘Eli’s Pit Crew’

  4. When our team appears, click on it and hit ‘Submit’

  5. At the bottom of the page, hit ‘Save’

We hope to organise a blood drive for our team in 2024, so be sure to sign up to our newsletter for more details.

We are dedicated to raising awareness about Neuroblastoma and other childhood cancers that disrupt and change the lives of not only the kids, but their families and communities.

We won’t always be actively fundraising, and if you're like many who are hearing about Eli or learning about childhood cancer for the first time, you might come across our story and want to help right now.

The best way to do that? Donate.

Give whatever you can - $30, $50, $100 or more - because every dollar given supports vital world class Australian neuroblastoma research, where the need is greatest to help find better, kinder and safer treatments. Each new research and each new breakthrough gives families of children with neuroblastoma - hope, hope for a cure and promise of a future..

Still looking for ways to support Eli?

Many people ask how they can support Eli directly. We greatly appreciate this offer of support, and we encourage you to get involved with our Crew as much as possible to raise awareness, help further research, and support kids currently fighting this disease.

If you still would like to do something for Eli directly, you can visit his Go Fund Me page established during his treatment. This fund has already helped pay for the immense financial burden cancer placed on our family when we were living away from home for treatment, and all future donations will continue to support Eli and our family while he battles the last of this cancer.
